This process leads to the concentration of tokens amongst a few high net worth investors looking to dump the token after seeing a high return on launch price, leaving the community as bag holders as the initial investors get out with a profit. We are flipping this model on its head, prioritizing small users over VCs. By offering a substantial token allocation across nine launchpads, we can better guarantee that the majority of released tokens get into the hands of the community.
To show that we genuinely respect the community and their involvement, all metrics, from initial token price to token vesting period, will be the same regardless of the type of investor. Of course, we have venture capital and hedge funds involved in our fundraising, but all of our token holders will receive their tokens at the same price of $0.10, and all will have the same vesting period. By spreading out allocation across various communities and getting everyone involved at the same base price, we feel this is the fairest and most equitable way for NFTrade to release tokens and raise funds.

In the end, we want long-term success, not an overnight pump and dump, so we have decided to implement this course of action for the NFTrade token sale. Whether you are a cryptocurrency newcomer or a blockchain veteran, you have undoubtedly had to experience the hassle of paying exorbitant gas fees to conduct a transaction. Although gas fees have temporarily subsided due to a cooling market, Ethereum users have previously had to pay fees eclipsing $100 or more to complete an interaction on the blockchain; this unsustainably high fee structure renders the network and many of its applications almost unusable in a multitude way. Although the Ethereum development community is working to fix this problem with the completion and introduction of the Ethereum 2.0 upgrade, that could still take years to come to fruition. For now, users need to explore other options.
For some, this means going to more cost-effective but more centralized blockchain networks such as Binance Smart Chain (BSC), but in many ways, this is against the ethos of blockchain technology, as this network is essentially a centralized database. For example, let&rsquo;s say you are a gamer playing the latest NFT-based game. After playing for a few weeks or months, you will acquire a wide variety of items, some of which will inevitably be duplicates. As a gamer, owning duplicate items allows you to leverage them via trading to acquire items that will actually benefit you, but with high transaction fees, this may not always be feasible. If the NFT in question has a market value of only $2, then paying $3-$5 (or much higher) in transaction fees already puts the trader at a net loss; if they were to continue to trade at this rate, they would dig themselves into a deeper and deeper hole of value loss. Using Polygon, even if the NFT item is only worth a few cents, it can easily be bought, sold, and traded without having to pay substantial network fees.
This example could also easily apply to artists. Unfortunately, not everyone can be Beeple, and for many, paying $2-$5, let alone $100 transaction fees, is not sustainable to begin with. If the artist is minting many pieces or collections, these costs quickly add up, pointing to the need for a scalable solution that makes Etheruem more usable for the average NFT producer and user.
Essentially, until Ethereum 2.0 is ready and users can utilize the network natively without having to pay excessively high fees, Polygon is one of the only viable solutions to make Ethereum usable for anyone and everyone. Following the initial success of our NFT farming application, we have listened to project and community feedback to make the experience even better. NFT farming allows users to earn tangible rewards in the form of NFTs, such as collectibles, gaming items, art, and utility NFTs such as IDO allocation rights, access to upcoming beta features, and much more. In exchange for staking native tokens, users can earn exclusive NFTs unavailable anywhere else, providing unique benefits that can only be achieved through NFT farming.
To build on the experience and make it more worthwhile for projects and community token holders, we are implementing an optional fee feature, as well as the ability for projects to opt to lock users&rsquo; tokens. This introduces more aspects from traditional staking and opens up the opportunity for the community to benefit from more exclusive and harder to obtain NFTs. On another note, we are also beginning the implementation of ERC1155 NFTs into our farming platform and marketplace, although this feature will not be ready until early August.

To create more robust incentivization models for both project developers and community token holders, we have added two optional features that will offer more customization within current and future NFT farms.
The first feature we are adding is an optional token locking period for all NFT farms. Although not mandatory, this aspect will better moderate larger token holders, making the process more equitable for average token holders, as well as allow project development teams additional levels of reassurance. Even though our NFT farm already has the ability to limit the quantity of NFT rewards each address can claim, some projects were worried that their whales, or large token holders, would be able to monopolize the NFT rewards by staking large amounts of tokens and then moving them to new addresses once they earn the maximum amount of rewards.
By introducing a lock-up period, projects will be able to make sure that all token stakers will only be able to move their tokens off of the platform after a predetermined amount of time, making it easier for the entire community to gain access to rewards. This also allows projects to keep staked tokens locked for a set amount of time, allowing projects to align their goals with more accuracy.

Beyond lock-up periods, projects will also be able to introduce an optional fee structure into NFT reward claims. Under our current farming parameters, users can claim all NFTs for free, but this is not optimal for all community-governed tokens, or for extremely rare NFTs. With our newest farming smart contracts, projects will have the option to implement a fee structure for certain NFTs, adding to their exclusivity and prestige. These fees will be distributed back to a wallet under the project&rsquo;s control, allowing them to collect, distribute, or lock/burn the fees.
Many projects we are working with have talked about redistributing the NFT claiming fees back to their community, thereby further incentivizing their token holders through NFT farming, staking, and claiming. Projects and their user bases will have full decision-making power when it comes to introducing either of these features, with both being one hundred percent optional and non-mandatory.

By now, pretty much everyone inside the blockchain world has heard of NFTs, the first-ever verifiably unique digital assets. However, when people think about NFTs, they probably think about the massive price tags associated with them, such as the $69 million NFT collage created by world-renowned graphic artist Beeple. Of course, there are also low-level and much more accessible NFTs, but when thinking about this new type of digital asset, no one really thinks about their ability to be earned.
Comparing earning to buying NFTs is like comparing apples to oranges, as the motivations and thought processes behind the decisions are drastically different. When earning NFTs, which is made possible through NFTrade&rsquo;s NFT farming platform, users do not have to spend any of their hard-earned crypto or fiat to obtain them, as they receive NFTs by staking assets they already possess. This process is somewhat similar to an interest-bearing savings account, except instead of earning an APY, you can receive a collectible or utility-based NFT. For example, imagine if Binance made it possible for users to stake BNB and earn NFTs right when BNB came out; the first NFTs produced by Binance would probably be highly collectible and sought-after, driving their price over time as the platform continues to grow.
Beyond acquiring collectible NFTs, users also have the opportunity to earn utility NFTs. These NFTs can take many different forms, with the biggest dependency being what the project developers want to offer as rewards to its user base. For example, in NFTrade&rsquo;s first NFT farm, a collaboration with Xcademy, a decentralized content creation platform, XCAD token holders had the opportunity to earn various NFTs. The most popular NFT from Xcademy&rsquo;s first round of NFT farming were NFTs giving users allocation rights in an upcoming IDO with one of their partner projects, Opulous. Even better, if the user earns the allocation NFT but does not want to redeem it, they have the option to sell it or swap it on the secondary market, making the value proposition behind these NFTs quite clear.

Although this is still an option, as the native tokens can be packaged into an NFT to make them earnable by users, projects have the option to utilize these tokens previously designated for staking rewards for other causes.
Another major factor is the ability of project developers to lock up the liquidity of their native tokens. When a user is staking tokens in a NFT farm, the tokens are put to use, and therefore can not be traded. This allows for sell-side pressure to be reduced as long as users are staking to earn NFTs, putting projects in a stronger position regarding token pricing and demand. If demand for a token is constant, but the supply is lowered because circulating tokens are locked up in a NFT farm, this should theoretically benefit the token&rsquo;s price.

This guide will go over how to buy a NFT on NFTrade, regardless of which network the NFT natively resides on.

NFTrade is currently live on four mainnets: Ethereum, Polygon, Binance Smart Chain, and Avalanche, giving users the option to create, buy, sell, swap, and farm NFTs on whichever network they find most optimal. Currently, NFTrade is only available for multi-chain transactions, meaning users can interact on a singular native chain, but soon, users will be able to execute cross-chain transactions. The first step to purchasing a NFT on NFTrade is connecting to the same network as the NFT asset. For example, if the NFT is ETH-based, you need to connect to Ethereum; if the NFT is Polygon-based, you need to connect your wallet to the Polygon network. If you try to make an NFT purchase on a chain you are not connected to, NFTrade will opt you to switch to the same network as the NFT you are interacting with.

Once you are connected to the correct chain, the purchasing process is relatively straightforward. On the marketplace screen, you can hover over the NFT, which will prompt a &lsquo;Propose Swap&rsquo; button to appear, giving you the ability to swap the NFT natively. If you click on the NFT, you will be automatically redirected to a dedicated page where you have the option to place an offer or to purchase the NFT for the listed offer. If you place an offer, the owner has the option to accept, decline, or counter, while if you purchase for the &ldquo;Buy Now&rdquo; price, the transaction will automatically execute.
For simplicity&rsquo;s sake, let&rsquo;s use the &lsquo;Buy Now&rsquo; option for this example. Once you find the NFT you&rsquo;d like to purchase and click &lsquo;Buy Now&rsquo;, a summary page will pop up outlining the sale&rsquo;s data. It will show you the NFT description and price, which you can verify and accept before finalizing the purchase. If everything is in order, check off the &ldquo;I approve NFTrade&rsquo;s Terms &amp; Conditions&rdquo; box and click the blue &ldquo;Checkout&rdquo; box to move onto the next step. Initially, these transactions were only available using wrapped tokens such as WETH, WMATIC, or WBSC, but now, transactions can take place using wrapped or original tokens, making the process easier than ever.

At NFTrade, we are extremely grateful to all of our early platform users and backers, and to reward our community, we have decided to reserve $100,000 of $NFTD tokens solely for early platform users. We will be introducing staking where users can earn $NFTD as interest shortly, but to continue down our pathway of innovation, we&rsquo;ve created a much more interesting, fun, and dynamic way for token holders to get more utility out of their $NFTD tokens. To continue to aid in this researching process, we have released our newest NFT tracking metrics, allowing users to easily track sales volume and the quantity of sales within a specific NFT or collection.
This data, presented in the form of a line graph, will make it much more straightforward for users to visualize and analyze data that was previously unavailable to NFTrade users or collections. Now, users can easily assess these metrics within specific collections, building on the data previously available to create a more all-encompassing picture of NFT metrics. We will continue to release more data points, graphs, and NFT analytical tools, with more options already being developed within our pipeline!
To access data pertaining to a NFT collection, go to the NFT collection page and click the &lsquo;Total Sales Volume&rsquo; box to view the trading history in terms of days or hours. These charts will tell you the total sales volume over the period, as well as the number of complete sales.

<h1>Step 2 &mdash; Stake Your Tokens</h1>
In the main dashboard within the NFT farm, you will see all the information relating to the specific farm, including the number of tokens you have staked. At the bottom of the dashboard, you will see a blue &lsquo;Stake&rsquo; button &mdash; click this button to stake your tokens and begin farming for NFTs.
After clicking &lsquo;Stake&rsquo;, choose the amount of tokens you want to stake, approve NFTrade&rsquo;s terms and conditions, and press &lsquo;Continue&rsquo;. This will then prompt you to sign a wallet transaction, transferring your tokens to the staking contract to begin staking and earning. You will have to pay a network transaction fee to initiate this process, which can differ depending on the network and its transaction congestion. Once the transaction is confirmed, your staking has begun.

<h1>Step 3 &mdash; Track Your Rewards</h1>
Once you begin staking, you will start earning synthetic and non-transferable tokens that you can use to claim NFTs within the farm. These synthetic tokens are only used to earn the NFTs within the farm, and can only be acquired by staking the native token of the NFT farm. Your synthetic token rewards will update every block within the dashboard, allowing you to know precisely when you will have enough tokens saved up to claim the specific NFT within the farm.

<h1>Step 4 &mdash; Claiming Your Reward Tokens</h1>
Once you have enough synthetic tokens saved up to claim your NFT of choice, you can claim your synthetic tokens. Once you begin to accumulate synthetic tokens, the blue &lsquo;Claim&rsquo; button will appear, which you can then click to claim the synthetic tokens to your wallet. This will prompt you to sign another transaction in your browser wallet, transferring the tokens to your control.

<h1>Step 5 &mdash; Claiming Your NFT Reward</h1>
Once your synthetic tokens are in your wallet, you can now claim your NFT. The price of the NFT will be listed in synthetic tokens, and once you have enough tokens saved up, you can click the blue &lsquo;Buy Now&rsquo; button under the NFT you&rsquo;d like to claim. This will prompt another wallet signature, transferring the earned synthetic tokens to the contract address in return for the NFT.
Congratulations, you are now the owner of a new NFT and still have all of our original native tokens! You can choose to unstake your tokens (assuming the token lock period is up), or continue to stake them and earn more synthetic tokens for more NFT claims.

This centralized digital asset control has led to hundreds of millions (if not billions) of dollars lost in the traditional cryptocurrency space, and with NFTrade being one of the only NFT marketplaces to address this problem, it is our duty to showcase its importance to the broader community. <h1 style="text-align: center;">So, What&rsquo;s the Difference Anyway?</h1>
There is a night and day difference between the custodianship of off-chain and on-chain marketplace, with this being the decisive and differentiating factor. For example, within the Avalanche ecosystem, NFTrade is the ONLY marketplace that offers off-chain NFT listing and transactions, meaning the wallet of the NFT owner retains full custody of the asset right until the point of transfer. If this is a gaming item, this means users can still utilize the in-game item while being able to take sale offers on the asset. This also applies for all listings, meaning NFTrade never actually holds or controls the NFTs, our users do!
By utilizing an off-chain marketplace, users do not have to deploy their NFT to a centralized smart contract of an exchange that hackers can potentially exploit, leading to the complete loss of their stored NFTs forever. Think about it, you&rsquo;ve probably heard of countless marketplace hacks, and these were all only possible because the marketplaces had full control over their users&rsquo; assets and did not have the proper security protocols in place to offset these possibilities. At NFTrade, this is not something we even need to consider, as we NEVER have custody over your NFTs.

<h1 style="text-align: center;">How We Do Things Right</h1>
Off-chain listing can be tricky and potentially dangerous if not developed correctly, which is why we made sure to stress test all of our services to the highest degree before public implementation.
When you list a NFT on NFTrade, you approve the transfer in case there&rsquo;s a sale. However, you approve a proxy contract that has no logic to actually transfer the asset. This proxy contract can&rsquo;t get compromised, as it&rsquo;s basic in its outputs, and has no chance for security breaches. The proxy can get called only with the proper permissions. When listing an item, you say how much you want to sell it for, to whom, until when, etc., and all those parameters are signed with your wallet. In this case, our exchange contract is the only one with the permissions to tell the proxy to transfer the asset, and that only happens if the off-chain signature meets all the order parameters. This means that the order is only filled if it perfectly matches with the signature, telling the proxy to transfer the assets.
The most important thing to remember about this process is that the transfer permissions can be revoked at any time!
With this failsafe in place, even in the worst-case scenario of the exchange being hacked, there&rsquo;s a dummy proxy contract that knows nothing, with no one else having the ability to tell it to transfer the NFT.
Developing this methodology correctly took a lot of time, precision, testing, and auditing, and we can confidently say that is the most effective mechanism for utilizing a secondary NFT marketplace.

<h1 style="text-align: center;">The Benefits Are Clear</h1>
Now that you have a stronger understanding of the difference between on-chain and off-chain marketplaces, the benefits for users and creators should be obvious. Not only is there greater security and protection in terms of digital asset ownership, but with off-chain marketplaces, you can still utilize and interact with your listed NFT in other decentralized applications. On the contrary, when using an on-chain marketplace, once you begin a transaction and deposit your NFT into the marketplace&rsquo;s smart contract, you no longer have ANY control over your NFT, leaving it up to the marketplace to make sure they have the necessary security in place to secure your assets properly.
Although there are obvious benefits to an off-chain marketplace, it is a much more challenging infrastructure for many development teams to build, which is why NFTrade is one of the only marketplaces across the entire NFT ecosystem that offers these capabilities. The bottom line is that many marketplaces are simply too lazy, incompetent, or unskilled to introduce these implementations, which is all the more reason off-chain marketplaces should be utilized if someone is looking for a secure and decentralized secondary NFT marketplace.

With questions like this arising, the apparent value of market orders comes in, making it easy for people to place buy orders and sell orders in the exact amount and quantity they want. As we prepare for the integration of the entirety of our offerings, we&rsquo;d like to highlight an overview of everything announced during our growth campaign.

<h2 style="text-align: left;">Day 1 &mdash; $NFTD LP Farm</h2>
To kick things off, we started our 10 Days of Growth campaign with the launch of our native LP farm. Rarity tools are vital to determining the true value of a NFT within a collection, and as a multi-chain (and soon-to-be cross-chain) NFT marketplace, a multi-chain rarity tool is only fitting. This innovative tool combines the best aspects of rarity data and analytics, allowing users to easily and verifiably determine the rarity of their NFTs, and thus, a more appropriate price.

In collaboration with MoonPay, we will provide a fiat-onramp to NFTrade, making NFT accessibility easier than ever. Soon, users will be able to purchase and sell NFTs using fiat currency.

<h2 style="text-align: left;">Day 5 &mdash; $NFTD Single Asset Staking</h2>
On the fifth day of our campaign, we announced yet another utility of $NFTD: single-sided staking. Through our NFT farm, users can stake $NFTD to earn exclusive artistic, collectible, and utility-based NFTs.

<h2 style="text-align: left;">Day 6 &mdash; Tezos Integration</h2>
Since NFTrade is focused on hosting the entire NFT ecosystem, including all relevant chains with segmented NFT economies, we announced our Tezos integration. This integration will introduce the Tezos blockchain and Tezos NFTs to our dynamic platform.

<h2 style="text-align: left;">Day 7 &mdash; Kusama Integration Via Moonriver</h2>
We are working with the Moonriver (and Moonbeam) team to introduce the Kusama NFT ecosystem to our broader user base. Through their unique platform, NFTrade users will be able to create, buy, sell, trade, and p2p Kusama-based NFTs.

<h2 style="text-align: left;">Day 8 &mdash; $NFTD Bridge for Avalanche Tokens</h2>
In collaboration with ChainPort, we released a bridge for our NFTD tokens on Avalanche. Now, all of our holders, regardless of whether they own their tokens on Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, or Avalanche, can seamlessly swap NFTD tokens between chains.

<h2 style="text-align: left;">Day 9 &mdash; Harmony Integration</h2>
As the final mainnet announcement in this campaign, we were excited to introduce Harmony NFTs into the NFTrade ecosystem. Like Tezos, Moonriver, and many other networks, we will integrate Harmony to make their NFTs more accessible and available to the broader NFT community.

<h2 style="text-align: left;">Day 10 &mdash; Advanced NFT Trading Platform / Order Book</h2>
For our final announcement, we released details on our upcoming advanced NFT trading platform. Through the use of traditional order book functionality, our advanced trading platform will fundamentally change how NFTs are traded, especially at the floor price. By increasing buy-side and sell-side liquidity within specific NFT collections, entering or exiting a NFT collection will be easier and more accessible than ever before.

As we continue towards the implementation of all these features, on top of adding to our user base and daily/weekly/monthly NFT trading volume, we are excited to see how NFTrade impacts the broader NFT sector.

With such a new and innovative technology such as NFTs, the possibilities for fraud are still prevalent, especially as marketplaces, creators, and platforms are still largely segmented and siloed off. In order to protect our users against fraud in the NFT space, such as purchasing a non-original NFT masking itself as an original, we are teaming up with Numbers Protocol to implement the fraud protection protocol for NFTs.

<h1 style="text-align: center;">A Variety of Implementations</h1>
We will be working with Numbers Protocol in a variety of ways, with additions that will bring value to both of our communities of users. Our first steps will be a support search of BSC assets issued from Number Protocol&rsquo;s NFTScan, making it easier than ever to identify fraudulent NFTs on the Binance Smart Chain network. We will also soon run a verification campaign, rewarding the community for correctly pointing out fraudulent NFTs looking to take advantage of innocent users. Not only will this help the community, but it will also directly reward those who can identify these fraudulent NFTs.
On top of this, we will also begin to set up a $NUM NFT farm, allowing $NUM token holders to stake their tokens in order to earn collectible or utility-based NFTs (and a potential $NUM APY). Numbers Protocol will also aid in additional integrations, such as setting up a photo NFT collection store on NFTScan to make identifying fraudulent NFTs even easier.

We are excited to team up with Pangolin, one of the top DEXs in the entire crypto market, to launch their first NFT collection &mdash; available exclusively to $PNG token holders!

<h1 style="text-align: center;">Earn Pangos in the Pangolin NFT Farm</h1>
For its first NFT launch, Pangolin made the admirable move of prioritizing its token holders, making the NFTs free to claim to anyone who stakes $PNG in our Pangolin NFT farm. By staking $PNG in the newly released Pangolin NFT farm, stakers will earn xPNG, a synthetic and non-transferable token that can be used to purchase NFTs within the farm. All of the available NFTs are deviations of Pangolin&rsquo;s mascot, Pango, offering an assortment of options for interested users.
In total, Pangolin has made 1600 NFTs available across 16 different NFT variations, with a quantity of 100 NFTs each. This first batch of NFTs is based on the Pangolin stickers usable within their community channels, bringing a vital piece of their ecosystem to life for all Pangolin supporters to own!
Once you stake your $PNG, there is a 30 day lock-up period within the farm, allowing you to earn xPNG on every block to go towards your NFT purchases. Some of the Pango NFTs cost more xPNG than others, but there are available options at many price levels, making them accessible to token holders of all different shapes and sizes. Each wallet address will be able to claim a maximum of 5 NFTs each, making multiple NFT claims possible, but at a level where everyone should be able to take part and make their claim. Following the purchase of the Pango NFT, the NFT will go directly to the user&rsquo;s browser wallet, where they can then decide to keep it, list it for sale, or trade it. If you&rsquo;re not a $PNG holder or do not want to lock up your token liquidity, don&rsquo;t worry, as you will still have the option to buy or p2p swap for a Pango NFT once it hits the secondary market.

With the still raging high gas fees users are experiencing on the Ethereum network, we have already started to see a user and developer exodus to chains deemed more scalable and efficient. One of these networks is Kusama, but without EVM compatibility, it is extremely challenging to bridge dApps over to the network. Through this partnership, MoonPay provides a fiat on-ramp for NFT buyers, sellers, and collectors, making it easier than ever to access NFTs without many of the technical barriers to entry users previously had to experience.
