IMX Gaming Ecosystem Overview – Cross the Ages

Leading up to our Immutable X integration on October 24th, we are highlighting the top games within their ecosystem! We are starting off our overview with Cross the Ages, a multi-chain play-to-earn NFT card game taking place in a dystopian world. Let’s get into it below.

Cross the Ages 

Cross the Ages is a free play-to-earn (P2E) game that allows users to enter and collect digital cards (NFTs). The game setting is a dystopia that represents the merging of the science fiction world with fantasy. The game aims to combine the nostalgia of physically collecting cards with the modern-day appeal of living in our own virtual world. With Cross the Ages, the lore runs VERY deep (an essential aspect of long-term success), with a series of seven novels based on the exciting world set for release. The books have already begun to release and can be accessed on their site; others will continue to emerge over the next seven years.

Built on IMX, Cross the Ages allows users to seamlessly bridge their cards from Polygon to IMX and back, ushering in a cross-chain world that will help the NFT gaming sector thrive as value accrues across different chains and ecosystems. Not everything is available yet for players, but interested users can request early access and get their packs now so they can prepare for the full launch.

Public launch and esports competitions are slated to begin before the end of the year, so make sure you start preparing your deck to take over the world! And make sure to stay tuned for subsequent card collections and novels, with ‘Mantris’ and ‘The Rift’ card collections launching in March and October of 2023.
