How to Peer-to-Peer Swap on NFTrade
Peer-to-peer swapping, also known as direct user-to-user trading, is a cornerstone of any multiplayer gaming experience. Every gamer knows how essential trading abilities are, and this is more true than ever with the tangible value tied to NFT and play-to-earn gaming.
Before NFTrade’s peer-to-peer swapping feature, the only way to trade NFTs was via an over-the-counter (OTC) deal, which comes with inherent counterparty risk that should be avoided at all costs. Now, with our innovative swapping application, we have created a trustless way for anyone in the cryptocurrency space to easily, safely, and efficiently swap their NFTs with anyone else.
Below, we highlight all of the necessary steps to complete your own peer-to-peer NFT swaps.
Step 1 — Go to https://nftrade.com/swaps and click the ‘Connect Account’ button
This connects your browser wallet to NFTrade and allows you to make trades. Once your wallet is connected, make sure to open the blockchain you would like to trade your NFTs with (currently Ethereum, BSC, Avalanche, or Polygon).
Step 2 — Find the NFT(s) you want to trade for, hover over it with your mouse, and click ‘Propose Swap’
By clicking ‘Propose Swap’, the NFT you are interested in trading for will be added to your trading bar. Once a user’s NFT has been added to the trade bar, their wallet with all of their available NFTs will pop up with NFTs that can be traded.
Step 3 — Choose the NFTs you want to trade for and propose your own NFTs
Step 4 — Propose the trade to the other user by clicking ‘Trade’
Once you click ‘Trade’, you will be prompted to agree to NFTrade’s terms and conditions before signing a wallet transaction. Once you click ‘Confirm’, you will be prompted to sign a transaction, sending the trade offer to the other user.
Step 5 — Check your trade status in your ‘My Account’ tab
After the trade has been offered, the other party can accept, decline, or counteroffer. All information is available in your ‘My Account’ tab.
That’s it! Now, you should be a swapping professional using NFTrade — enjoy.
